Citronella oil is what we need to take with us on our camping adventures. We had a horrible time at our last campsite with mosquitos. I ordered this citronella oil to add to a lantern that we set up outside. I mix it with water so it lasts longer. I also make a spray with water and the oil to spray around my chicken yard to keep the insects away and to deodorize the area. The oil is extremely fragrant, so a little goes a long way. I love the citronella fragrance, but I got a little bit on my fingers and even after washing my hands with soap and hot water two times, I can still smell it. The smell is so powerful, so be mindful of that when using it. I highly recommend this oil!
I recently moved to LA and the sand flies and mosquitos have really been buying me. I ordered this citronella essential oil to help keep them away and so far its been working. I dilute it with olive oil and put in on my pulse points and in diffusers in my house. So far they've left me alone. The bottle comes with a regular cap but also a glass dropper.
The smell is strong , cant say if it repels just yet since I just applied it on to myself and babies.. packaging was so neat!

I have a few dogs!!! I use the Citronella as a flea tick repellant. I put a few drops in their bath water if fleasticks are present, they immediately drop off can be seen in the bath water - DEAD!! I also dilute several drops with water put in a spray bottle spray a few 'shots' on them before I take them outdoors. I got the idea when I bought some flea wipes saw that one of the ingredients was 'citronella'.

Exactly what I needed to deter bugs
Terrific stuff! We've had an ant problem for a year now and we have pets and were trying to avoid pest control chemicals. We've used MANY natural alternatives. I saw something about using Cintronella and so I ordered this product. I used it and finally the ants are gone. My husband complains that it is strong, but I think it is worth it to be free of the pests. Great alternative and great quality. It is strong smelling though and precautions need to be followed when using it(proper ventilation).

Just what I needed , high concentration of the smell , it leaves an oily long lasting smell. Testing it for dog repellant. If i had a tip , it would be to keep it contained , my own dog was put off by the residuals
