Ginger Essential Oil

I needed a ginger oil that wasn't too strong since I was planning on using it to mix with lemongrass for a soap base and it smells just right. The packaging felt thin at first but the cardboard inside is super sturdy and the dropper is in perfect condition. It's a big glass bottle which has a bit of weight and well protected.

This worked very well in my diffuser. The scent was warm and spicy without being overpowering. This bottle is quite large (4 ounces total), so it should last for quite a while. It has a pretty long expiration date as well. Recommend, I hope that this helps.

4oz is a lot. The oil seems to be of high quality. The expiration date is a few years from now. Packaging is great! You will not be disappointed.

I ordered this bottle of ginger essential oil to use in my house diffuser for aromatherapy. Ginger is supposed to help stimulate your mind. It only takes a couple drops in your diffuser and you can smell this woodsy sent immediately. I love the extra large size four ounce bottle that is handcrafted. It even includes a large dropper, which is perfect for measuring your desired amount of oil. The smell is great and invigorates my soul. This bottle would be a great gift for the essential oil lover in your life.

I thought I would like this more than I do BUT it DOES smell like Ginger so I definitely can't complain at all. If you are looking for Ginger then you have come to the right place. This one is definitely for you. It is a generous sized bottle and has a dropper included as well. It is packaged very nicely and would make for a thoughtful gift. Really, I don't have any complaints. It smells like GINGER.

I've been very happy with this oil, but as a matter of practice, I use this with a carrier oil. Ginger can be a topical irritant for some people, when used pure. If you do any amount of research, you will find that most, if not all recommendations, are for the use of a carrier oil with the ginger oil. I am very happy with the results from the topical use of this ginger oil. I love using this oil in my diffuser because it's not one of those really sweet or flowery scents. It's rich and a little spicy, and invigorating. Really unique.

Just a few drops in my essential oil diffuser and the room fills up with a spicy and mild scent of ginger. In the bottle I feel the scent is more concentrated and strong than when it is in the diffuser with water. Overall good quality oil if you are looking for an aroma therapy scent with ginger.

I have a ginger inhaler that I use when travelling as I tend to get motion sick at times. I also have ginger EO that I diffuse when cruising to help with a nausea feeling. I'm really mixed on this bottle of "Ginger essential oil" because it does not smell as robust (warm spicy) as I would have expected this to smell. I feel like there is a secondary fragrance mixed with it although the box and bottle don't mention any. However, I did diffuse a small amount and when doing so, the "strange" smell straight from the bottle was negligible. Perhaps this is too strong an EO to smell right from the bottle. If I "whiff" my hand across the open top, I do smell more of the ginger smell and not the "off" smell. So, I am really mixed. Initially, I wanted to give this product a 1 or 2 star, but because of my latter two points, I'm giving it a 3 star (my handfingers smell "off" just from handling the product). The price is about right for the bottle size; but if you aren't used to ginger, perhaps starting with a smaller bottle would be better as this isn't really a scent for most people nor is it like my other Ginger EO products.

I've been using this in a diffuser and it has a nice aroma to it and is not to overpowering. This is the first time I've used a ginger oil. The description is 'spicy, warm, and bold. I would rate this as a more mild less overpowering aroma then other oils I have tried in the diffuser.

This comes in a large amber glass bottle, bundled with a separate eyedropper cap and well-packaged in a retail box. Mine is good until 012027, which is just under 3 years from now. The essential oil smells like ginger as expected. It is warm and spicy. You can dilute this with a carrier oil to use as a massage oil, or use it straight in a diffuser for aromatherapy. Overall, I like this ginger essential oil. It is pungent and fresh. Originated in China. This large bottle will last for a long while. Good so far. Worth a consideration.

Good for the stomach

I ordered this for my new oil diffuser. I have tried it a few times and it is okay. I am fairly new to using oil diffusers, so I cannot comment on the effects as of now. I have ginger in the past in cooking or medicinal purposes. Using it this way will be a new experience.

The bottle of ginger essential oil arrived well packaged and protected. It also comes with a dropper. If you don't like the smell of ginger in general, then this may not be the perfect essential oil for you. I kind of like the smell. More importantly, it is all natural. I have no complaints.

This essential oil came in a 4 oz glass bottle with a separate glass dropper. The only ingredient listed is ginger oil. It does smell like ginger, but seems to be more of a musky fragrance. I decided to just put this on a cotton ball and leave in the room before using it in the diffuser. At the end of the day, I couldn't handle the fragrance any longer and threw the cotton away outside. Maybe it would work better combined with other essential oils, but I didn't want to bother. The price of 25.95 seems a bit expensive to me.

We have an air diffuser in our bedroom and have tried calming essential oils of various plants. A couple of drops is all that is needed to the water tank. For times when we feel an upset stomach or have nausea symptoms, this ginger root essential oil helps alleviate the body and mind. It is refreshing scent and makes you feel alive and in a better place mentally. The "zing" from the ginger root is from its scientific name: Zingiber officinale. I would not recommend applying this directly onto your skin as you should dilute it for safer results. This set came with two small bottles. There is no dropper included which is a bummer. Overall, there are a few applications that I really wanted the ginger essential oil for. Primarily for the air diffuser is what hits our mark. Just be careful dispensing the drops straight from the bottle. Having a little patience pays off. 4.5 Stars!
