Lavender Essential Oil Huge Bottle

This is a very large bottle of diluted essential oil so it can be used directly on the skin or in a diffuser. I tried both and had no irritation on my skin, but the scent was a little strong for me, and it worked well in my waterless diffuser. The scent is pleasant but does not smell like Lavender that I am used to and almost smelled like it was mixed with Eucalyptus but smells pleasant regardless. I know there are different species of Lavender and they do not list the specific Lavender used in this oil so I just may not be familiar with the scent of this species. The scent is strong so it can be diluted further without making it to faint so this bottle should last quite a while. To skin application, I will mix it with an unscented lotion so it isn't so potent.

I use the lavender oil in my diffuser, and it brings a soft, calming floral scent to the room. It feels gentle and relaxing, and I like having it around when I just want a peaceful, pleasant atmosphere. The eucalyptus oil adds a clean, sharp freshness that is completely different from the lavender. Anyone who used diffusers knows this a staple oil to have on hand. It floral scent is appealing to many and it has relaxing qualities, plus It blends well with other oils which I appreciate since I like experimenting with blending scents. There are different kinds of lavender, so there is some variation in lavender oils scents. This does smell like lavender and is stronger than many so blending would tone it down if you wish. This will be a little harder to dispense since it does not have a dropper top and does not come with a glass dropper. Average glass droppers would not reach very far into the bottle.

This is a big 16 ounces of lavender scented oil for use as an aroma, either in a diffuser or humidifier, or in lotions, soaps or other products. You could absolutely blend this into ordinary liquid hand soap or shampoo. It smells wonderful. I appreciated that the product description suggests some other scents that lavender blends well with. It is a beautiful and traditional floral scent but I do not always feel quite that girly I guess. Lavender and mint or lavender and rosemary sound excellent to me because I enjoy those scents and have those essential oils. Apart from lavender oil, the only other ingredient mentioned in Handcraft Blends Lavender Essential Oil is Triethyl Citrate, an emulsifier made from plants, that has no odor. The quality of this seems excellent and you get a lot so if you use fragrance oils a lot it's a pretty decent value.

This is a very generous bottle of lavender oil. I found the fragrance to be pleasant and accurate, without a lot of "filler" scent. I tried it in a small bottle with some diffuser rods, and it left a pleasant light floral fragrance in the room. I also added a little to a clean rag and tossed it in the dryer with some laundry. I made sure that the rag wasn't too saturated and that I let it soak in well so that I didn't end up with oil stains on my clothes. It left everything smelling extra fresh and just a little softer than normal. I am considering adding a little to my shampoo to give it a better scent as well. There are probably loads of other uses for this formula as well. I could add it to my dish soap, or hang a small cloth with some on it in my car. I'll probably come up with many other uses since there is so much of the scented oil to work with.

I know lots of people use peppermint oil for headaches and migraines but it's too strong for me. I much prefer using this lavender oil. It works!

Good quality

This is my first experience buying essential oil and using a diffuser, but this seems to be good so far. I was about to buy another brand that I know was tested to be authentic but was 40 more expensive so thought Id try this first as they say it has been independently tested for quality so kinda hanging my hat on that for now and will update if I find something clearly superior in the future, but for now this is working just fine. And another big plus is that this is also available in a 16oz size thats about 30 cheaper per ounce than the 4oz version I bought, and thats what Ill buy next if I stick with this because that makes this even more of a bargain.

Lavender seizes very quickly! I've made hundreds of batches of Cold process soap i never had a E Oil sieze like this one!

I use on my dryer balls makes my clothes smell wonderful.
