Thyme Essential Oil

I used this in my diffuser, and I needed to use lots of drops to be able to smell this. It's not as concentrated as others, but otherwise it still smells great. I could see this being better at making candles or soap. It still comes as advertised, and included a glass dropper.

this Thyme essential oil is one of the highest quality oils ive ever used. its smooth like water, and has a very potent smell. if you like the scent of thyme, you will love this oil. at first, there was a musky undertone to this thyme oil i wasnt the most fond of, but the more i smell it, the more i like it. this oil has a very pleasant aroma that is both head-clearing and relaxing. what i really like about this product is IT IS NOT TESTED ON ANIMALS and its 100 pure and natural. the only ingredient it says on the bottle is Thyme Oil. the bottle is also very large.

I usually get my essential oils from a well-known organic company in Oregon. Well the price of their essential oil went up so I was on a search for a less expense option. I have two diffusers which enable me to compare the different oils. Well this essential oil has the same throw as the expensive one and it is half the cost! This essential oil is for external use only or heavily diluted in carrier oil. I am only using this in a diffuser so I cannot attest to how the oil works in soaps or other beauty products.

Best essential oil. The lemongrass scent is everything! On my second bottle.

Very nice oil - comes in a dark glass bottle. Smells strong and very much like real thyme.

This oil is shipped with care with a separate glass dropper. So, you can use the dropper with the bottle or use the cap on the bottle. That's a nice touch. It's a large bottle, which should last through many projects. It's the perfect scent to add to gender neutral products - herbaceous but not sweet or pungent. I plan to add it to lip balm I'm making for holiday gifts. I tested the oil directly on my skin at full strength and did not have any reaction to it.

We sometimes cut sprigs of Rosemary and Thyme off of our plants to put in the kitchen for that fresh herb smell. This Thyme is not light on fragrance if a person is after the earthy aroma. Not exactly what I was after, but for those that want the earthy tone in an essential oil, this one will not let you down.

This thyme essential oil is very nice. The smell is strong and long lasting, and the 4 ounce bottle should last a long time.

I purchased 2 variations from this company, tangerine and thyme. Both essential oils are in very large amber glass dropper bottles (4oz). They both have very strong scents and I plan to use them in my CP soaps. I currently make a citrus lavender soap with turmeric and I am going to add in tangerine to that recipe. I think it will go great with the current essential oil blend: orange, lemon and lavender. I plan to utilize the thyme in a masculine soap due to its strong, herbal scent. It will likely make a better co-fragrance because of its nascent properties. These oils are pure, natural and cold-pressed. They appear to be of good quality and I am confident that they will be a wonderful addition to my soaps and other diy products.

Of the dozens of essential oils Ive used for various purposes, this is my first experience with thyme, so I was surprised to discover that it smells nothing like the dried spice I use for cooking. The scent is bold and earthy and has distinct herbaceous notes similar to rosemary and oregano. It is highly concentrated, so little of this robust oil goes a long way in the diffuser, therefore I consider it an excellent value for such a large size bottle.

I researched this brand all over wondering if it was reputable in light of the low price. Resoundingly, it is. This is a tremendous value. Unfortunately, my research told me that I should not use certain essential oils because I live with cats and their liver can't metabolize them. There are exceptions, such as Tumeric oil, and several others and I will not hesitate to buy this brand.

This is an a very strong smelling essential oil. It smells strongly of thyme. This really needs to be mixed with something; thyme by itself isn't pleasant. Unless you plan too mix your own fragrance, avoid this.

I just got this and set up my new diffuser, a thick block of felt... really thick, and my 7-inch fan. My pad already had just a couple drops of a floral essence but it never was detectable. I added a full dropper (more than normal for me) and as soon as it was absorbed turned on my little fan and absolutely loved this oil. I tried an hour later without the fan and there was very little scent but overnight it was present and perfectly to my preference in the room. I also added a somewhat Christmas ham spice, clove, cinnamon, yada yada... but only about 2 drops and it barely came through the rosemary but was nice that way. I rarely use any oil by itself, but I might with this one. I highly recommend this.

I got this thyme oil for its potential benefits to the body. This oil has a woody and sesame seed oil smell to it, but it's hard for me to completely identify and isolate. It has a strong scent, but not overwhelming fragrance. This bottle has an expiration date of 082026.

Nice small bottle. First time I ever needed red thyme, so I m glad it s just what I need instead of adding it to a collection of leftovers I ll probably never use again. And nice to support a small business.
